L.I.F.E. Fairs: Promoting Literacy and Family Engagement in Schools

Worthwhile Pursuits, LLC develops and manufactures educational, developmental and screen-free family games, and we offer L.I.F.E. (Literacy and Interactive Family Engagement) fairs to media centers and schools to promulgate their educational and family-engagement mission (and fundraising mission, but that is optional).  Our products encourage and strengthen child literacy, family engagement, stronger reading skills, outside-of-the-box thinking, spacial dynamics, creativity, family fun, etc.  Several people have expressed our products’ value for special needs children as well.

Here are 2 videos about our first two products that schools are welcome to use and share to promote the educational family experiences:

Our 3rd educational game was released in November 2023. It’s called Mimic Me Maui the Monkey, and it’s our observational learning “monkey see, monkey do” family experience.  Here’s a video that we posted on social media where our owner explains the product: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmsA2r5EU0gW

Worthwhile Pursuits’ educational games are “3-in-1” . . . a very soft & cuddly top-quality plush, a literacy-strengthening children’s gaming book, and a fun and wholesome interactive family experience . . . all for only $20.00/game.

What do our L.I.F.E. fairs look like?

Our L.I.F.E. fairs can look different for each school, depending upon the needs, goals and objectives of the school.

One option is to simply send out information to parents and grandparents and encourage purchase of the interactive educational games to further the mission of the school, media center or family engagement objective.  After accumulating the orders and payments, we will deliver the educational games to your school for distribution to the students and families.

We would especially love to be involved in your Grandparents Day.  You could let grandparents know about the interactive educational games opportunity, and take pre-sales before and during the event.  Grandparents seem to LOVE our family games, we think in part because they are screen-free :).  We could even talk about the company owner speaking to the grandparents and kids.

You have the option to do our literacy and family-engagement offering in connection with a fundraiser.  Even if you sold only one educational game, you’ve still furthered your school’s mission.  That’s what distinguishes our fundraiser from most others . . . not that you will make the most money, but that you further the primary mission of your school — the educational and cognitive advancement of your students and the development of the whole child.

Lastly, an author’s visit is a possibility depending on your school’s location and other factors.

We have a heart for kids and their complete development and growth as a whole person, as do you.  We are confident that our educational and interactive games, consistent with our vision, achieve the mission of your school.

Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions!  We would love to speak with you.
