What To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do

You’ve got an issue . . . a situation . . . a problem.  You don’t know how it’s going to work out.  Or you don’t know how to make it happen.  Or you have to make an ultimate decision, but you have no idea what the right choice should be.  So what do you do when you don’t know what to do?

Let’s say you drive to a nearby city at night.  You pull out of your driveway with your lights on.  Do your lights shine all the way to your destination?  Of course not. So what do you do?  You drive a little bit into what you CAN see, and you see a little bit further down the road.  Then you continue to drive a little more into what you can see, and you see even further down the road.  And then, at some point, the destination is reached.

What about that issue/situation/problem that you have?  How do you handle it?  You may not be able to see how it’s all going to work out.  You may not see the end result.  But do you have enough “light” to take a step or two?  What steps might you take?  Would taking those steps be worth your while?  If you think they would, take heart . . . take courage . . . and take those steps.  They may be the steps that get you to your ultimate destination.

Plan a “D.D.D” – Device Down Dinner

When is the last time you had a family dinner with your children?  You know, that thing that people used to do back in the 1980’s? 🙂  Put a D.D.D. on the calendar . . . and see what happens.  If it goes well, consider making it regular event.  You may find that, though it takes time and effort, it is worth your (and your family’s) while.

It requires your time, not money, to build your relationship with your little loved one(s)

One of the visions for Worthwhile Pursuits, LLC is to allow for and encourage dads, moms and other loved ones, as appropriate and beneficial, to be more actively engaged with their children, including spending quality/fun with them.  Find Me Funzy the Fox™ [ ] is just one of many various avenues for that.

But you don’t have to spend money to build your relationship with your child.  You just have to spend your time.  Are you doing that?  We believe that you will find, if you have not already, that spending quality time with your children or young loved ones is worth your while.
